Gray's Musts: The Most Luxurious Living Room Décor

Hi Everyone,

When it comes to luxurious living room décor, it doesn’t necessarily have to be all about the price tag. Whether you love brand-name designer décor, or you just want to walk into an atmosphere that emanates luxury (brand-name or not), I have a feeling you’re going to love what I rounded up for you all today. Not too long ago my team shared their tips onhow to make your home look expensive without spending a dime (yep, it’s possible!), but today I want to focus on some of the higher-end pieces similar to ones I have in my very own home, as well as some accessories that will elevate any formal or casual living room. So, let’s get into it, shall we? Keep reading for my roundup of luxury living room décor, including a few of my fine art photography prints that are perfect for achieving that high-end look…

1. Hermés Avalon III Throw Blanket, $1,525

As I mentioned above, I have an Hermés throw in my own home, and I have to say it’s a piece I have never regretted getting. Not only is the feel of this throw luxurious in and of itself, but you can’t beat the high-end vibe of displaying that iconic “H” amongst your décor.

2. Jonathan Adler Maxime Daybed, $3,500

One thing you’ll find that many luxury spaces have in common, is that they often include a chic daybed for guests to kick up their feet (maybe just figuratively in this case). The construction of this one is especially eye-catching, and a little brass finish paired with a crisp white textile always reads high-end, in my opinion.

3. Two Horses Print, $199-$1,999

My Prada Marfa series is one that has been with me since the early beginnings of the Gray Malin brand, and it’s still one of my favorites to this day. It works in a variety of spaces, from Western to eclectic to high-fashion interiors. This Prada art installation in the middle of the Marfa desert is not only a way to make a statement in your space, but also an easy way to add a little bit of luxury to your living room.

4. The Aspen Pines Serving Tray, $355

If you haven’t browsed our collection of luxury acrylic trays yet, I suggest you do it STAT! I designed these pieces to highlight some of my favorite prints from a variety of GM series, and they always look undeniably chic in any space. (Plus, this Aspen Pines print gives off a distinct luxury lodge vibe, don’t you think?) They also work well anywhere from coffee tables to book shelves, so you can get creative with styling.

5. Alcide Rectangular Marble Coffee Table, $699

A piece of marble furniture is a foolproof way to make your living room a little more luxurious. While white marble is usually my go-to, I have to say this black marble and gold coffee table looks especially moody and high-end, and will also add a touch of contrast to your living room.

6. Mount Pleasant, Bermuda Print, $299-$2,999

Anyone recognize this new print from my Bermuda series? The concept behind this collection was not only to highlight the naturally gorgeous Bermuda landscape, but also to celebrate its sophisticated sporting scene and luxury estate lifestyle. It’s a little slice of paradise that is guaranteed to add a bit of “resort chic” to your living room.

7. Simone Mink Faux Mohair Chair, $549

When in doubt, let your luxurious textiles do the talking! These upholstered chairs have a velvety sheen, and will feel luxuriously soft to the touch. Plus, the clean lines and minimalist silhouette exude that “just right” high-end vibe, without being over the top.

8. Betty Large Pendant Bronze, $1,199

A living room light fixture is often a big focal point of the room, so make sure to choose something that makes a statement when going for that look of luxury. This one has an interesting, organic shape, with plenty of indulgent details like shimmering blown glass and brass hardware. It’s a show-stopper, to say the least.

9. The Study Print, $1,378-$8,000

If you’re looking for something truly exclusive to add to your living room décor, look no further than my Private Collection. This series in particular, Art of Living, juxtaposes the natural beauty of the tropics with iconic mid-century modern furniture by Eames, Saarinen, and Knoll atop a mirrored platform. Each print is editioned and becomes more valuable with each print purchased, so you’re guaranteed to get a few-of-a-kind piece for your space that is well worth coveting.

10. Oscarine Lucite End Table, $598

There’s something immediately luxurious about adding lucite details to your living room, and this end table easily fits the bill. With its simplistic design and brass details, it will blend seamlessly with existing décor, while still making a luxurious statement.

11. John-Richard Collection Free-Form Sculpture, $525

Is it just me, or do abstract pieces feel automatically luxurious? You can’t go wrong with a freestanding sculpture like this one in your living room. If you want to make it even more of a focal point, perch it in front of a window to create an intriguing silhouette that will capture anyone’s attention.

12. Morning Light, Cannes Print, $299-$3,499

Last, but certainly not least, I couldn’t finish up this list without giving some attention to the ever-luxurious Cannes. Located on the French Riviera, this destination is a well-known resort town, so it’s no surprise that a scene like this easily makes any space feel a little more “bougie.” I have an entire series dedicated to this location, but the simplicity of this shot makes it one of my favorites.

What else would you add to this list? Are you going to pick up any of these pieces to add a touch of luxury to your living room?

You can’t go wrong with any of these pieces, so shop ‘til you drop! I won’t judge… ;)

Cheers,

xx Gray
