Tips & Tricks: How to Create the Perfectly Put Together Couch

Decorating the space around your sofa may seem like no big deal at first blush, but when it comes down to executing your vision, things can get tricky. Since it seems like we are swapping prints in and out over our couches on a regular basis, we’ve become accustomed to creating a cohesive look—connecting the dots from sofa, to pillows, to print.

So, if you’ve ever wondered just how to create that perfectly put together couch that friends and guests will envy, then you’re in the right place! We’ve pulled together a few creative looks inspired by real-life homes with Gray Malin prints, and you can shop them right here. A rule of thumb to start you off? The easiest way to create a put-together look surrounding your couch is to pull your color palette from your favorite print, and work from there. Once you settle on a simple color scheme, simply apply that palette to any décor pieces surrounding your print. Start with a sofa that is as neutral or bold as you like, then top it off with a few thoughtfully chosen pillows, a statement throw blanket, and you’re set.
