As some of you may recall, in the spring of 2015, I teamed up with Sperry to design our first capsule collection together. It was such a match made in heaven as I’ve been wearing Sperry for as long as I can remember, and our mutual love of the sand and sea, made us peas in a pod to create the limited edition collection together. With all of that being said, I’m bursting with excitement to announce our our latest collaboration!
This time around, we streamlined the collection into one shoe style, the comfortable yet sporty CVO slip-on sneaker, and paired with three of my beach aerials. We also added a soft suede fabric to each shoe and a premium leather sole to make them extra comfortable and stylish. Instead of simply showing them to you, though I have decided to bring the styles to life! Won’t you join me?
A DAY AT THE MUSEUM
Have you heard of The History of Ice Cream Museum? It’s quite possibly the most fun I’ve ever had at a “museum.” I quote because it’s definitely not a typical experience at the museum, where you quietly walk around and take in the art around you. Nope. This one is all about diving, quite literally, into a pool filled with sprinkles!
Pairing this outing with the South Beach slip on was a no brainer, as who doesn’t like to coordinate with their surroundings?? As for the rest, I kept it simple, so that the shoes could enjoy their moment with white jeans, a J.Crew t-shirt & Rayban aviators.
THE POOL PARTY
Cruise to your friend’s pool party in style with your new Bora Bora sneakers from the Gray Malin x Sperry collection. Inspired by aerial image, The Sand Bar, this lightweight canvas and suede sneaker will add the perfect something extra to your casual pool attire. I’ve styled main with a suit from Onia and the eye catching towel is John Robshaw.
THE HOME OFFICE
The Bora Bora slip ons are definitely versatile, though.Working from home? There’s no reason to not be comfortable and chic...just saying.
It might sound odd to get dressed to work from home, but I find it to improve my productivity. For this casual yet cool look, I went with my summer jeans aka white jeans and a simple black polo shirt, both from Scotch & Soda.
GAME DAY
Everybody loves a good day party, but I’m definitely an advocate for mixing in some activities, too. Bocce ball anyone? I really like how the South Beach sneakers pair with this nautical shirt from APC and pastel pink shorts from Bonobos.
NEIGHBORHOOD STROLL
Wrapping up Game Day, it’s time to take my best friend for a walk. Switching out the shorts, I threw on my trusty jeans and kept the nautical long sleeve on, then added a Hermés baseball hat to top it off. The Ipanema sneaker is the perfect neutral with a pop (!) to slip on for a stroll.

Last but not least, the feet dangling out of the helicopter shot. I’m wearing theSouth Beach in this shot, but let's be honest...each pair from theSperry x Gray Malincollection is perfectly paired for this kind of moment!
