Hi Everyone,

Today's Inspiration Spotlight of Jana Bek(blogger, interior decorator & designer extraordinaire)is one I've been looking forward to for a fewreasons. The first is Janahas impeccable taste so I was happyto learn that she not only already owned pieces from A la Plage but that she wasalso interested in acouple pieces from my brand new series, Gray Malin at the Parker, and most important of all, I was really excited to see how she decorated with them all!

Well, the wait is over and I couldn't be more thrilled with the results.

Up first, Jana styled her 24" X 36" White Framed image of Skinny Dip above the couch in her and her husband's master bedroom. When asked about why she chose this particular print, Jana explained that she had recently been wanting to change up the gallery wall and she felt that Skinny Dip was the perfect fit.

And AFTER...

Jana continued, "I love the colors in it – aqua, coral, and yellow are some of my favorites and the flamingo looks so peaceful..

and I thinkit’s whimsical yetat the same time serene, the perfect pick to start the day and unwind with..." Music to my ears! I love that this image evokes such motivational yet relaxing moods for their bedroom.

As luck would have it, prior to being introduced to one another, Jana had already been introduced to Gray Malin photography by her friend Brooke. The result of this friend-to-friend recommendation isprobably one of the coolest kid's bedrooms I've ever seen.

Did I mention that Jana designs beautiful Hand Painted Brushstroke Lamps? Well, it's true and I love how she styled this one with Icebergs PoolBondi Beach. Talking travel, I asked Jana what destination was at the top of her list and her answer didn't surprise me...

"Australia, everything about it seems dreamy! I keep randomly meeting Australians and my first Brushstroke lamp was actually purchased by an Australian interior designer – I think it’s a sign. It’s probably why I choose the Bondi Beach print for our son’s room."

Making our way downstairs, Jana showed me around a bit more, and unsurprisingly, I found myself being inspired by her decor choices.

Jana really knows how to utilize color, asking about what leads her decor decisions, she explains, "Iget new inspiration daily. I find though for our home I always come back to a style reminiscent of old Palm Beach and Hollywood Regency, it’s colorful, vibrant, and glamorous but also inviting."

Jana's interior decor is spot on and it really puts a smile on my face that she connects withthe Gray Malin brand, both professionally and personally.

"I love that Gray’s pieces encapsulate that spirit of wanderlust. When I’m designing for clients, I always want to incorporate his pieces into their spaces for that reason – to provide them with a beautiful escape without leaving their home."

And as for herself, Jana goes on to say "I really enjoy the sense of humor in Gray’s new Parker collection as well – cheeky art is such a happy escape. I think so many of them would be fantastic in children’s rooms, I’d have chosen Lifeguard on Duty as a fun alternative to Bondi Beach in our son’s room. Not to mentionI adore my new Pool Boys print, which I've hung above the bar cart. It seemed like the perfect spot to enjoy a cocktail or two."
