We recently had the privilege to take a peek inside Los Angeles-based interior design photographer Monica Wang’s bright and airy home, and it’s giving us some major décor envy. Her sweet and simple abode is just the right amount of L.A. cool mixed with timeless classics—not to mention her dreamy color palette that has us starry-eyed!

But before we get into the details of her home, we wanted to get to know a little bit about the lady behind the beautiful décor. Here’s what she had to say about herself… “I am an interiors photographer living in LA.My husband and I live in a cute spot on the outskirts of Koreatown and I absolutely love living there. It's bright and airy and reminds me every day of why I moved to LA!”
Framed print of Manhattan (framed in white). “My favorite thing to do is try new restaurants and host brunches or dinners with friends. But most evenings you will see me curled up on the sofa watching The Bachelor or T_he Peaky Blinders_ with a glass of wine. I am also a very curious person so I always have some sort of hobby. Right now, I am taking piano lessons to re-learn how to play since I inherited my grandmother's vintage one.Before that it was cooking, nutrition, soap making, and cheese making.Ha! I cannot sit still even if I tried. I am a nerd at heart.”

We can’t get enough of her organic, yet modern design aesthetic, and couldn’t wait to hear about her inspiration behind her home. “I love the laid-back Californian style.I am also drawn to Scandinavian and boho home décor so I try to mix in influences here and there to make it my own. I look for furniture pieces and accessories that truly fit into the space and are functional. I still wanted our home to feel approachable and cozy at the end of the day.”
“My style is also heavily influenced by living in LA and what is around me.There are so many amazing local artists that inspire me such asChris Earl,Rachel Duvall,Sheldon Ceramics, and Peach Orbjust to name a few!” “[My first Gray Malin print] was Dawn. I haven't ever been to Marfa, Texas but if I ever did I would go straight to this spot! It is a photographer's dream!”
Framed print of Dawn (framed in white). “The Foxcaught my eye because it was simply a beautiful, well composed piece. It is understated and not your typical Gray Malin print. I almost overlooked it at first, but once it did catch my eye, the more I looked at it, the more I loved it. It felt like me. I also chose Manhattan because of the perspective. It’s a view of Manhattan that you often forget about since it is an island.Plus, the color just pops off of the white walls.”
Framed print of The Fox (framed in white). “Whenever I see a Gray Malin, it reminds me of vacay and what's not to love about that!It reminds me to not take life so seriously and to separate yourself once in a while to the possibilities of true imagination.” 
And just for fun…
Who are the 4 people, alive or dead, that you'd most want at your dinner party? “Oprah, Giada de Laurentiis, Mark Cuban, and Kelly Wearstler.” Best vacation taken, so far? “The best vacation I took so far was my honeymoon through the Mediterranean. We went to Greece, Italy, South of France, Spain, and Monaco. It was a trip of a lifetime. I would love to go to Iceland next!” Favorite coffee table book? “Condé Nast Traveler Photographs. It is a gorgeous book inside and out. The photography inside the book is stunning and very inspirational to anyone.”
