A secluded beach adjacent to the larger Congwong Beach, Little Congwong is a favorite spot in Sydney for enjoying the beach sans clothing. It’s the perfect spot for when your feeling adventurous, but still want to enjoy a little bit of privacy. Is there a better way to beach than that?
Sandy Bay – Cape Town, South Africa
If you’re looking for an experience that’s a little bit quiet and secluded, look no further than Sandy Bay Beach in Cape Town. You’ll get to relax au natural without the throngs of people you find at some other beaches. And if you’d rather not tan in the nude, that’s okay too! Just as long as you’re okay with the company. In the need of an island getaway? Head to St. Maarten in the Caribbean and be sure to make a stop at Orient Bay Beach. This beach is known for the Club Orient which features a string of matching yellow umbrellas running down the sand, great food, and fun bars that all can be enjoyed sans swimsuit.
Black’s Beach – San Diego, CA
If you’re an LA local like us, you really don’t have to go far to have your own nude beach experience. All that stands between you and beautiful Black’s Beach is a short 2 hour drive down south to San Diego. Once you get there, take a nice stroll down towards the water and you’ll find a wide open stretch of sand and some fellow sunbathers. Once you’ve had enough of the sun, treat yourselves to dinner and drinks at The Marine Room in La Jolla where you can enjoy fun cocktails and delicious food with breathtaking views of the coast—but don’t forget, clothes required.
Gay Head – Aquinnah, Martha’s Vineyard
Don’t worry East Coasters, we’ve got you covered with a great nude beach right in your backyard—Gay Head in Martha’s Vineyard. Part of what makes this beach so special is the peach colored sand and sprawling cliffs. The trek from the car to the beach is 100% worth it when you get there, but make sure you come prepared with all the essentials—umbrellas, coolers, towels, chairs—everything you need to make you don’t get too much sun or sand down there.
