Is there anything more quintessentially New Year’s Eve than cheers'ing with a glass of champagne at midnight? If you’re like us, you’ll probably start the celebrating well before the clock strikes 12, but that doesn’t mean you can’t still ring in the new year by popping open a bottle! In fact, it’s highly encouraged. Now that that’s settled though, it’s time to find the perfect bottle for you to enjoy this New Year’s Eve, so we’ve rounded up a list of all of our favorite champagnes we know you’ll love too!

1.Veuve Clicquot, $50

It’s no secret that we at Gray Malin love Veuve Clicquot. So much so that we’ve even produced a few photos with them like Splash of Rosé pictured above. Not only is the orange label totally iconic, but its quality and taste are also completely worth the high-end price. And for all the rosé lovers out there, Veuve also makes a rosé version of their famous Champagne, which celebrated its 200th anniversary in 2018. Let’s celebrate it one last time!

2. Piper-Heidsieck Cuvee Brut, $40

Looking for a bottle of champagne that’s a little bit bold and doesn’t break the bank? We recommend a glass of Piper-Heidsieck Cuvee. Pinot Noir grapes are blended with small proportions of Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier to give both toasty notes combined with juicy pears and apples.

3. Mionetto Cuvée Anniversario Prosecco, $25

Other than a nice Aperol Spritz, few things make us feel more Italian than enjoying a glass of Prosecco. This particular bottle comes straight from the Prosecco region of Valdobbiadene, Italy and best enjoyed when celebrating something special… like the arrival of 2019! It features bright apple and pear aromas that make it perfect for pairing with a light dinner. Or, perhaps save it for the morning after with some fresh OJ...mimosas anyone?

4. Pol Roger Brut Champagne, $50

Ring in this New Year like a true royal with Pol Roger Brut Champagne—the official champagne of both the weddings of Harry and Meghan and William and Kate. This champagne has a fruit forward flavor with strong notes of berries and citrus making it light and refreshing.

5. Perrier-Jouet, $40

This particular champagne will always have a special place in our hearts because Gray enjoyed it while shooting his Snow Polo series. This champagne is so decadent, you could even compare it a dessert. As the flowers on the label suggest, it features notes of white florals, lemon, apricot, and honey—perfect for pairing with something sweet.

6. Taittinger Prestige Rosé Champagne, $85

Misconception: Rosé should be reserved exclusively for the ladies. This Taittinger Champagne is as delicious as it’s pink color is beautiful. With a mix of raspberry, cherry, and currant blend seamlessly creating a full-bodied palate, it's the perfectcomplement a yummy dessert as you countdown to midnight.

2018 has been such an amazing year and we’ve loved getting to share every moment of it with you! Get excited for big things in 2019. Cheers!
