Hi! I’m Veronica from Veronica Bradley Interiors. I live in Columbus, Ohio with my husband, Tony, and our 8-year-old son, Raleigh. I’ve had a lifelong love of interior design and decoration and have fond memories of going with my mom to her interior designer’s studio when I was young. After graduating from Vanderbilt, I started my career in corporate fashion retail, during which time I enjoyed doing interior projects for my family and friends. With their encouragement and support, I decided to start Veronica Bradley Interiors as a side project. A few years later, I began focusing on it full-time. I specialize in interior decorating and e-design and have an online shop with home decor, partyware, and gifts. I serve clients locally in Columbus and throughout the United States.

How would you define your interior design style?

I would define my interior design style as new traditional, blending the best of old and new. I like mixing antique rugs and decorative accessories with modern furnishings and art. This creates interiors that are timeless and elegant, as well as current and practical. While my personal design style is new traditional, I have worked on projects ranging from traditional to contemporary and enjoy making each space unique to my clients.

What drew you to La Fontelina From Above, Capri?

When selecting artwork, I like to choose something that has personal meaning. My husband and I spent a day at La Fontelina on an anniversary trip to Italy, so I was immediately drawn to it. It is such a beautiful and unique place, and Gray did an amazing job capturing that. Just looking at this piece can transport you to paradise. Seeing the deep blue waters, rocky cliffs, and iconic umbrellas bring back the wonderful memories we have there.

What did you pick out as the most important elements of the print to incorporate into the space?

I love the bold shades of blue and turquoise and used them in the pillows and decorative accessories throughout the room. The earthy texture of the rocky beach also inspired me to incorporate geodes, coral, and clay jars.

What’s one piece of advice you’d give to someone who wants to design a space and start with art?

Select a piece that has personal meaning to you, whether it’s from a place you visited, somewhere you aspire to go, a favorite family heirloom, or the elements within the piece just speak to you. If you do that, you’ll love it and the space for many years to come.
