Hi Everyone,
Wow! With the launch of our first official clothing collaboration with fellow SoCal based brand, Splendid, and the release of my new beach aerials of Orange County, thelast two weeks have been very exciting ones here at Gray Malin. It's hard to believe it's been an entire week this celebrating the Splendid x Gray Malin launch but what can I say? Time flies when you're having fun...itwouldbe remiss of me, though not to reflect and share ALL of the fun that was had last Friday!
THE LOCATION
In true Southern California fashion, Splendid selected a quintessential destination to host the ultimate luncheonsoiree. Have you guessed? It was at the Santa Monica Pier on a stunning sunny Friday afternoon with the Ferris Wheel and the sparkling Pacific Ocean in the background. Splendid didn't stop there, though. They created an immersive experience into our "wearable vacation" clothing collaboration....I'm donning theHarbor Chambray Shirt paired with our Bondi Sweater for the occasion.
THE GUESTS
The friends and colleagues who came out to celebrate were tremendous in so many ways! First and foremost, it was a complete blast to see so many of them wearing their favorite pieces from the collaboration, as well as simply SEEING them, in general. It's always a battle to keep up with everyone that you'd like to, so I love when special events like this one bring us all together for some fun quality time.
For instance, I first met Julie of Sincerely, Jules and Liz of Late Afternoon way back in 2015 at a dinner celebrating the release of Gray Malin at the Parker. Years later, we're all enjoying a laugh, and they're looking chic in their Splendid x Gray Malin.

LUNCH, THE SPREAD & MORE
For consumption, it was all about elevated carnival fare. Fun, right?
After a quick welcome speech, we all got down to enjoying the food and company.
Once we were all finished with the deliciously fun bites, it was time for some rides and a few more pictures for good measure.
And, then it was a wrap! Thank you to Splendid for putting together such an AMAZING event to celebrate our Splendid x Gray Malin collaboration. It was one for the memory books. And, as always, thank you all for following along.
