Home/Room Tour: Large Scale Art Styled in a Dreamy Home

Hi Everyone,

I'm so excited for today's home tour. Gallery walls are fun, but there’s something so impactful about being greeted by large-scale art when you enter a room. Today’s home tour is sure to inspire you. Thishome features large Gray Malin art in three rooms and it’s styled perfectly.

Statement fireplaces and mantles are such an amazing design moment. We decided to do one in our Lake Michigan home and I love how it turned out. When you have a statement like that, the only thing to pair it with is art that is equally as show-stopping. This home’s gorgeous high ceilings lent itself perfectly to having a large vertical print above the fireplace. The colors of St. Barths Nude Sunbathers are both bold and subdued. The bright blue definitely catches the eye, but it doesn’t take away from the rest of the space.

Staircases are another great opportunity to bring in large artwork. I feel like oftentimes people forget to even decorate their staircase, but this is typically an area where you have lots of wall space and nothing to fill it with. This large Palm Shadows print makes every trip down the staircase feel like a getaway.

Triptychs are a unique way to fill an oversized wall. Looking through a triptych feels like you’re looking through a window to your favorite destination. I love how theycan easily transform a space. Whether you find yourself dreaming of the city or the beach, there’s a triptych that will inspire you.

Thanks for joining me for a tour of this stunning home. I hope you’re all feeling inspired to start styling large artwork in your own home. Cheers!

Xx
