Hi Everyone!

Taking a break on the Travel Journal to share with you today's lovely Inspiration Spotlight, Natalie Suarez of NATALIE OFF DUTY.

Natalie and I met back in February when she attended the kick off event for my partnership with Le Méridien. Since then we've kept in touch and I'm happy to to show you a sneak peek into Natalie's home as well as how she has decorated with her Gray Malin art photography.

Inspiration Spotlight: Natalie Suarez of Natalie Off Duty

Natalie is a NYC based model and blogger, for her,

"The blog was inspired by the "model off duty" lifestyle. I'm constantly on the go, always traveling, and I'm all about effortless dressing. With that, I like to tell a story through every image and in every post. It could be about what project I'm working on, where I'm traveling for a shoot, or what I'm inspired by."

"Ithas brought some amazing opportunities. As a model, I fell in love with the creative process that came with making an image. Now with NATALIE OFF DUTY, I have so much creative freedom in whatever project or collaboration I'm working on."

With her always on the go and working on various projects, I thought it would be fun to show her having a bit of down time at home. I love how she's styled her La Dolce Vita print ofCEFALÙ YELLOW UMBRELLAS in the 24" X 36" frame leaning against the wall in her work space

This leads me to ask, Natalie, when it comes to decorating your home what aesthetics or themes do you gravitate towards?

"My style is very bohemian, but classic. I try to keep things very minimal and clean in my house since it's also my workspace. In NYC, I'm constantly on the hunt for the perfect apartment. Right now, I have massive windows overlooking the NYC skyline in every room, but with the bare walls that I have, I need some color. Lots of portraits and artwork. I like simplistic furniture, and amazing rugs. Bohemian but modern."

Seen above decorating with her print from Poolside, I wondered, what about theGray Malin branddoes Natalieconnect with?

In reference to her print from La Dolce Vita,

"I'm such a beach girl. I just took a 2 week road trip through Italy and this image reminds me of the coast of Amalfi, or a colorful beach in Porto Santo Stefano. His Italian collection of portraits are my favorite. And I love beach umbrellas."

And then in an overall way, she had this to say..

"It's so happy and bright and adventurous. That's how I like to wake up and feel. His work definitely gives me that positive vibe. It's inspiring!"

Naturally, this makes me so happy, as putting a smile on someone's face with my work is what I love best! I love knowing that Natalie, who's always on the go, has her prints to come home to and continue to be inspired while taking an "off duty" breather.

Thank you Natalie so much for letting us into your NYC pad! I loved seeing you in your live/work environment.
