Read All About It: Gray's Favorite Beaches

Hi Everyone,

One of the questions I get asked most often is,"What's your favorite beach?" This is SUCH a hard question but considering I've been to so many, I completely understand why one would ask me it. To attempt to answer, I have put together a special shop appropriately named, Gray's Favorite Beacheswhere, as the name suggests, you can shop images from all of my favorite beaches. And, for a limited time, you can get 30% off all beach aerials on the site!Simply put, I can not narrow it down to just one, but I can certainly share a few favorites. Let's begin..

SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA

After my very first aerial shoot over South Beach, Miami...I was HOOKED and I quickly booked trips to some of the world's most iconic beaches. First up...down under! It was 2013, and I was embarking on what has become my largest body of work to date. Sydney will always hold a special place in my heart!

Sydney has incredible pools that are chiseled right into the rocks above the ocean. I shot this one during my inaugural voyage, then the one above when I was back for New Years 2017. The shot below of Bondi Beach was also shot in 2013 and has been a long time fan favorite, as well as personal one of mine.

RIO DE JANEIRO

Another beach I photographed early onwas the kinetic sands of Rio de Janeiro, needless to say - it did not disappoint. The energy in Brazil is palpable. All of your senses are on high alert!

Just try to not hum Copacabana when you set yours eyes on Copacabana Beach, Rio’s first string of Atlantic Ocean-facing beaches. The iconic 2 ½ mile stretch of white beaches flanked by mountains on each side and packed with people in their skimpy bikinis. They also like to get in the water and work out those bodies. For all of the fans of my collaboration with AWAY luggage, you may recognize this shot below as the inspiration for the Ocean cases.

HAMPTONS, NEW YORK

If I've said it once, I've said it one hundred times - I love the Hamptons. It is quintessential escape. If you grew up on the east coast or live in "the city," aka New York City...then, you know exactly what I mean. The Hamptons represent summer to so many who live in and around New York, as it's miles of pillowy sands and stunning sunsets. I'm particularly in love with my recent release of Hamptons images.

Want some tips on the Hamptons? Well, I've got plenty for you...Travel Guide, Road Tripping, and Montauk Highlights.

THAILAND

From my most recent beach explorations, I have fallen in love with Thailand and all of the beauty it has to offer. Most notably...the beaches. It's not a close trip for many of us but trust me - it's worth the effort. To learn more, I wrote a pretty lengthy Travel Guidefor your reading pleasure.

As you can probably guess, I am not finished...in fact, I sort of just scratched the surface but I did manage to edit myself down to 7 beaches around the world that fall under the "favorite" qualification. To see them all, look no further than right HERE.

_ Did yours make the list? _

Cheers
