Not only does it challenge us to think creatively (and enjoy a little retail therapy, too), but it also continually opens our eyes to the endless variety of vibrant cultures that exist. We are always drawing inspiration from globally inspired design and craftsmanship, and that is exactly the inspiration we’re sharing with you all today.
You may have seen us cover all sorts of design inspiration here on the blog, focused on anything from a particular space, to a décor trend, or even a single color. And while we get giddy at the thought of designing around any one of those things, today we’re taking a slightly different approach and focusing on the foundation of any space: rugs!
If you ask us, rugs hold an incredible power to transform a space, even if you don’t lay a finger on any other décor piece in the room. Whether you go neutral and textured, or choose a flat-weave rug that packs a punch in the pattern department, a rug can make an amazing focal point in your design, and neatly tie all of the elements of a room together.
