Hi Everyone,

Kicking off our first home decor story on the new blog today with a recent NYC transplant, Everett Williams, of lifestyle blog Everything Everett. He's only been in LA full time for a little while now but he's already taking in all of the activities SoCal has to offer like hikesand weekend trips to the desert. Another thing he's been enjoying is decorating his new West Hollywood home, and I'm happy to share that he's picked up a few Gray Malin pieces along the way to help settle into his new West Coast lifestyle.

Everett, won't you tell us a little bit about yourself and decorating style?

Currently I am living in West Hollywood working full time for my blog,Everything-Everett.com, and absolutely falling in love with life in Los Angeles. I love to stay active and get out of the house when I can. Some of my favorite day to day activities are hiking, vintage shopping, and hanging at the beach. My style of decorating is definitely mid century modern with a minimal palette and touches of bright colors. I love unique pieces that complement each other and really give a space a special one of a kind look

What inspired you to choose this print for over your couch?

It was a hard choice to be honest! I love all the prints and it's always so hard to choose which one I like the most. I chose this print because I love the simplicity of the blue ocean with a the pop of a single woman!

Haha! I know, I even have a hard time choosing, sometimes. I love Girl in Pink, though. It truly is one of my favorites! I love the joyfulness of the singularity of one woman enjoying a dip in these prestene waters. I see you have a couple more beach aerials, too - Jetties Beach Nantucketand Bondi Beach Waves. I'm so glad you've found a few things that are helping immerse yourself in the beach culture.

Yes, absolutely. My happy place is either somewhere along the PCH or somewhere in Paris! My two favorite sights on earth!Something I have always looked up to in Gray's work is the ability to make beautiful photographs that are also fun and unique. I don't like too take things to serious in life, and I love to have fun.

Oh, I love hearing that my work evokes feelings fo fun! It is certainly a primary goal, especially with the beach aerial series. If you're loving Everett's style, don't wait..get your beach pad ready, now!

Thanks Everett for inviting us into your new SoCal place, and I hope you keep enjoying it as much as I do! It only gets better.

Cheers,

xx
