Design Direction: Decorating with Arches

2020 has got us thinking about one thing and one thing only: arches. Yes, arches can be found pretty much anywhere. However, this year, we couldn’t help but notice just how often we’ve seen them splashed across our feeds and ingrained in the most beautiful home interiors. As much as we love them, though, arches are one of this year’s home trends that aren’t the most accessible to recreate. Most people already have them built into their homes, and only a few people are willing to shell out the cash to renovate for them.

For most of us, taking on a huge renovation like that isn’t in the cards. That’s why we’ve got an easy jump start that can still help you participate: arches in prints! This way, you can still appreciate the arches we all know and love, but at a fraction of the cost. Gray’s recent Palm Beach series has so many prints featuring gorgeous arches with beautiful architectural details, so swipe through to see the prints you can hang on your walls to join in on the arches décor trend…

1.The Lobby at The Breakers Palm Beach

The grand, opulent arches of this lobby’s interior really celebrate everything we love about this trend. Bring a little of that opulence into your home by framing it above your fireplace.

2.Welcome to The Breakers Palm Beach

Classy and cool, this print features a few rows of arches as the backdrop of a relaxed and idyllic vacation. Makes you want to drop everything and head to Palm Beach, no?

3.1961 Rolls Royce, The Breakers Palm Beach

The solo Rolls Royce print featuring the same outdoor arches may be your pick if you’re want a little more glitz and glam.

4.Poolside at La Follia, Palm Beach

The poolside print heavily features arches shown throughout the entire estate. Paired against the geometric grass patterns, the print feels balanced despite the variety of contrasting shapes.

5.The Breakers Porte Cochere, Palm Breaker

We can’t get enough of these arches, and we think you won’t either! This print features that same lovely Rolls Royce driving through the Porte Cochere.

6.Worth Avenue Clock Tower, Palm Beach

If you’re looking for something a little more beachy, this clock tower print with beautiful archways gives you the best of both worlds.

7.The Couple, The Breakers Palm Beach

If you’re looking for more subtle arched details in your print, The Couple has a few rows of archways in the background that embody the spirit of the trend, without making them the focus of the artwork.

8.Mediterranean Courtyard, The Breakers Palm Beach

Though the arched, glass windows aren’t the focal point of this print, it’s still a singular reminder that not only ties the scene together, but also hides the arch trend in plain sight.

9.Palm Courtyard, The Breakers Palm Beach

The arched doorway of this print, though covered by the fountain, is still the focal point of this print and draws your eye towards the door.

10.Via Parigi Worth Avenue, Palm Beach

One of the most romantic prints, in our humble opinion, Via Parigi’s blooming flowers and lush plants adorning the archways truly celebrates the timelessness of the arch design trend.
