Hi Everyone,

Happy Humpday! I hope everyone is having a fantastic week, so far. I'm very excited today, as today we're offiically launching brand new images into the Far Far Away series, and to kick it off - we celebrated last night with a very fun exhibition of the new images. As an artist, I've gone down a unique path, where I don't typicallydo exhibitions, so this made last night extra special! It is really amazing (& scary!) to share your work all at once with a group of people, a lot of friends but also new faces, so it's always highly anticipated to hear their reactions. Much to my delight, everyone seemed to like what they saw and enjoyed the night taking it all in. Won't you join me in a cheers to Far Far Away II?

THE SPACE

In a chic gallery space on Melrose Place, we hung a selection of the new installment of Far Far Away.With an overarching emphasis of color theory combined with the juxtaposition of unexpected shapes, objects and animals, I'm so happy to share the second installment of Far Far Away, which delivers a brand new collection of whimsical images that showcase the art of mastering an image in frame without the illusion of manipulation.

Naturallly, I had to bring back mine and many more's favorite, the smiling llama, for the second shoot; I'm also really excited to introduce new elements and objects into the series as great lengths were taken to create each image in the collection. For example, in the image, ‘The Diving Board,’ an actual 7 foot diving board was engineered and driven to the salt flats.

THE SCENE

Loved seeing Nicolette Mason, who's home tour is a current favorite of mine, as she & I both share a strong appreciation of the glamour of the Aqualillies. The muse of my series, Aqua Glam, and the series of which Nicolette found the perfect GM print for her abode.

Saul Rasco joined usas welland then as always, loved seeing Alle Fister of Bollare...as well as so many more smiling faces!

To help bring the series to life a bit more for the guests, I had a projection of the Behind the Scenes video on display. The resulting images for the Far Far Away series really cause their viewer to stop and take pause...and question what they're actually looking at, which I love! It's hard to believe what you're seeing in the prints, but we did..in fact..make it happen along the mesmorizing salt flats of Bolivia.

Another great part of the night, we were very lucky to have Tequila Aviónon hand and some talented mixologists mixing up their delicious signature cocktails.
