Behind the Scenes: Frieze London Art Fair

Hi Everyone, Last week, I released my brand new series, Art of Living. It was such a difficult series to develop both conceptually and physically that I wanted to debut it to the world in an exciting manner. After a few months of planning we decided to debut the work online while simultaneously having an exhibit and party. Therefore as clients were receiving our announcement email at 9AM in the USA, we were having a "live" event in London that evening. Thanks to Snapchat and Instagram stories it was really great to invite my followers into the experience in real time! If you're in London, it will be available for viewing through the end of the month at Le Meridien Piccadilly, so definitely put it at the top of your 'to do' list if you'll be in town.

It was an amazing event as I had the chance to cheers with my friends across the pond as well as well celebrate with the Le Meridien team to seeing the series come to life in the exhibit. Gray Malin exhibits Art of Living in London

Not so coincidently, London's massive art show, Frieze London, was happening simultaneously which made for an artfully mesmerizing time. Gray Malin explores Frieze London

As stated on their website, "Discover the world’s most exciting artists, from the emerging to the iconic," Frieze London is an art lover's paradise. Housingmore than 160 of the world’s leading galleries under its massive roof, exploring this show is truly an experience of a lifetime.

I was like a kid in a candy store, everywhere I looked there was something new to be taken in. It was a bit of a sensory overload at times but I wouldn't of had it any other way - you honestly can't help but feel inspired! Gray Malin explores Frieze London Gray Malin explores Frieze London

From minimalism to experimental to performance art and everything else in between, Frieze London is quite literally the best art show I've ever experienced. Gray Malin explores Frieze London

A few of the favorites were the Simon Lee gallery and his exhibit of Hans Peter Feldman's work, who's paintings are tongue in cheek yet undeniably powerfulunder his talented hand. Gray Malin explores Frieze London

On the left, Hans Op De Beeck's work fully encompassing a white room entitled 'On Vanishing' was very thought provoking. On the right, a sculpture by the talented Kevin Francis Gray, who was showing with London's Pace Gallery. Gray Malin explores London Frieze

Like I said, it was quite overwhelming, so lets just look through these snap shots together. Gray Malin explores Frieze London Gray Malin explores Frieze London Gray Malin explores Frieze London Gray Malin explores Frieze London

It is difficult to sum up exactly how incredible walking through Frieze London was for me, so rather than try, I will simply reidderate it was the best art show I have ever been to and if you ever have a chance to go...GO! Thank you London for hosting me last week. It was amazing debuting the Art of Livingin your city and taking in Frieze London while I was at it. And, as always, thank you for following along with me!

Cheers, x GM
