Hi Everyone,

Ahh...March. The month when things start to warm upand a lot of us begin to enjoytime spent outside, again. I think this is also a time that many people go into planning modefor trips to take in the summer time, but I'm here today to pose a one specific question -Why wait? Instead of going during high season, I suggest seeking out getaways right now, specifically ones with the perfect combination of minimal crowds and enjoyable weather.

Whether you're looking for culture, cuisine or simply some relaxing time in the sun, I've got my top recommendations for you.. let's begin..

WAIKIKI, HI

Let's be honest, there isn't really a bad time to travel to Hawaii. In fact, I spent some time in our 50th state in January, and let me tell you - the weather was lovely, even when it was a little rainy. Insider tip - Come back tomorrow to see brand new images from Hawai'i ...but in the meantime, let's talk Waikiki. When it comes to afood and beverage scene, Honolulu reigns supreme. Not to mention, the islandOʻahu has a tremendous surf culture, with people traveling from all over the world to dip in these waters. Last but not least, the average temperatures are typically high 70s to low 80s. Top knotch dining and outdoor experiences with weather that requires, at most, a light sweater in the evening...I'll take it!

PORTUGAL

For all you wine lovers out there, now is the time to visit Portugal's most popular wine region, the Douro Valley. Known as one of Europe's oldest and most beautiful, I haven't been, yet bit it's certainly top ofthe list! Post wine country exploring, I'd then head to Lisbon for a meal of delicious seafood and some time spent along their multifaceted beaches. In fact, this first one happens to grace the cover of my book, BEACHES.

LONDON, ENGLAND

Okay, so the weather may still be tricky in London this time of year, but isn't it always kind of tricky? March is a great time to go, as Spring has begun and the parks are going to be more lush than ever. Plus, we're only a couple months away from the upcoming royal wedding, so it's probably best to get in before the nuptial madness begins. From the city'strendy neighborhoods to their art scene, I simply love London. To get a step by step guide on how I would do and have done the city, look no further than right here.

And, there you have it! Where would you go if you could go anywhere this month? Would it be a beach city all the way or would you opt for a bit more culture mixed in? Wherever it may be, I hope you enjoy!

Cheers,

xx
