Hi Everyone,

I am so excited to announce that we are nowoffering the Gray Malin Wallpaper collection! Creating this collection of wallpaper has been a very exciting and rewarding process, as it combines my core work as a fine art photographer with my passion for interior design. As I continue to evolve and expand the Gray Malin brand into lifestyle and luxury products for the home, my goal is to inspire wanderlust and bring joy to people's favorite spaces.Hand selected frommy collection of international coastal scenes, I believe that the four initial patterns will bring an air of whim to any room it is utlized within. But don't take my word for it, please allow me to introduce you...

THE GRAY MALIN WALLPAPER COLLECTION

Pinstripe Umbrellas

Capturing the color, pattern and repetition of the retro-vintage beach umbrellas of the Italian Riviera, Pinstripe Umbrellas' predominately sand-colored background is layered with mini vertical stripes of turquoise umbrellas and blush towels. Naturally, I love the layering of artwork on wallpaper. In this particular example below, the vertical lines combined with a vertical framed print really add a feeling of depth to this room.

The Sunbathers

Inspired by the timeless glamour of Miami’s famed South Beach, The Sunbathers features a sand colored background with scattered sun bathers using tangerine-colored beach towels. For a patterned wallpaper like The Sunbathers, I find that the art pairing should compliment, rather than compete. The simplicity of this printfrom the À la Plage series does exactly that, in my opinion. For more on styling artwork with a heavily patterned wallpaper, be sure to check out our contributor's post on this very subject.

Ocean Waves

Captivating layers of ocean waves off the coast of Byron Bay, Australia were the featured subjectin the Ocean Waves pattern. Featuring predominately varying colors of aqua with patterned white wave caps, slight colors of sand can be seen peaking through the shallow waters. Since it was inspired by actual waves, there is very much a feeling of water colors with this option.

Riviera Stripe

Crisp white beach umbrellas of the Italian Riviera are brought to life on the Rivera Stripe pattern, featuring a sand-colored background with alternating horizontal stripes of white umbrellas and sunbathers on beach chairs.

What do you think? Aside from the pattern options, a few other great things to be aware of are that all four wallpaper patterns will be available in three finishes: removable peel and stick, traditional pre-pasted wallpaper, and commercial-grade textured vinyl. Traditional paper features a sleek, smooth and eco-friendly matte finish, while peel and stick paper is ideal for temporary use and offers a smooth, easy-to-clean finish. Vinyl wallpaper features an elevated linen texture, a favorite for hospitality projects.

I like how each pattern feels like one of my photographs but the wallpaper format brings the imagery to life in a totally new way for people to style into their space.I can't wait to begin using this wallpaper in my new house, not to mention excited to see what you all will do with it!It was truly a task narrowing down the collection to these four designs but I couldn't be happier with the results. I hope you all enjoy, as well!

Cheers,

xx
